Facelift vs Mini Facelift | Stoker Plastic Surgery

Younger patients considering facial plastic surgery in Los Angeles with Dr. David Stoker often ask if they might be good candidates for a mini facelift. What that generally means, Dr. Stoker explains in this video, is that they want less invasive surgery. The board-certified plastic surgeon describes the differences between the two procedures, including that a mini facelift may not even involve the underlying muscle. You can learn more about the facelift procedure on Dr. Stoker's website:

You will want to sleep elevated while healing at a 45 degree angle with your chin tilted upwards for a few weeks post procedure. Mini facelift is a “quick fix” and will only last a few years. Facelifts last 5-10 years. Nothing is permanent due to aging and evolution of skin laxity/gravity over time. If you’d like to learn more about this procedure, send your name, number, and email to info@drstoker.com.

Mini facelift is just an excision of the skin beneath the chin, SMAS is a full facelift that involves manipulation of fascia and skin for the most tightening effect. I recommend sending your name, number, and email and the team will determine the best treatment for you.
